CharmsCharms
Office Assistant (formerly Charms Music) offers parents the ability to track
their student's band account by logging in to the Charms Parent/Students area.
The data will be available on Charms after it has been input from registration
forms.
Smart MusicSmartMusic is available as a one
time download for band students to use at
home on a home computer. The computer does not need to be connected to the internet
after the initial download for students to use the program.
With SmartMusic
loaded on a computer, students plug in an instrumental microphone and begin practicing.
They play their part with accompaniment and receive, in real time on the computer,
detailed feedback on their performance. Customizable features of the Smart Music
program include an interactive tuner, metronome, solo accompaniments (most solos
will already be available from the program library, including most of the "Essential"
book series). Eventually, all tape tests will be done using this program and the
results (mp3 files or wav files) will be e-mailed directly to the band directors
for evaluation. |
